From September 2 to September 9, 2017, professor Matthew Denton of Adelaide university and Dr. Zhou yi visited the ecological center.

During to dongying agricultural high-tech zone I salt-tolerant plant breeding and demonstration base inspection, sampling and experimental projects of sweet clover, proposed soil microorganisms, rhizosphere microorganisms and endogenous microbial community analysis, interpretation of sweet clover, rhizobia and the relationship between soil microorganisms and lay a foundation for the promotion and application of sweet clover. At the same time, the Yellow River delta saline vegetable base of growth environment, distribution and so on carries on the preliminary understanding, the next step is to study different saline soil environment halophytes rhizosphere microbial community composition change of conditions, such as for the Yellow River delta saline soil microbial phytoremediation to provide technical support.
In my visit, Matthew professor Denton did "physiological and agronomic measures, the influence of microorganism on soil health and productivity" special academic report, shows the leguminous plants rhizobia, rhizosphere microorganisms and rotation cropping system of agricultural soil ecological and health research results, for our country the current soil quality improvement and the implementation of the "special" ShuangJian plan provides a successful model.
During the visit, the two sides also discussed the further work plan and the content of cooperation, including the china-australia joint laboratory soil ecological health and restoration of cooperation content, cooperation scheme and steps, etc., which laid a foundation for further cooperation.
